An explainer video for a non-profit passionate about reconciling the relationship between food and consumers.

FairShare CSA Coalition partners with local farmers in the area and allows consumer to connect with the taste of the valley in the form of a CSA food box. Customers choose their farm and pick-up location and either weekly or monthly they will receive a box of fresh produce grown not to far away. The program bring diversity to the consumers diet, as well as sustaining and supporting local farmers.

Goal

The goal of the project:

  • Spread awareness of non-profit
  • Get people to sign up
  • Clearly communicate their purpose
  • Point audience to website for more information

Concept & Execution

RECONCILING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FOOD AND CONSUMERS. 

At FairShare CSA Coalition we desire to see a people who want to know where their food is coming from and want to partner with us to diversify their diet and sustain their fellow farmers.

The design decisions based off this concept:

  • Vintage illustrations: communicate ‘down to earth’ visually
  • Copywriting: communicating in a conversational way
  • Call to action: point to website
